An award-winning photographer with over 20 years of experience as a photojournalist. Nanette most enjoys making personal visual explorations, whether it is the discovery of new and inviting places or the rediscovery of the familiar in her own backyard in Bucks County. Nanette has received awards for news, feature and sports photography from diverse organizations including the Philadelphia Press Association, Bucks County Audubon Society, Society of Professional Journalists and the Pennsylvania News Photographers Association. The National Museum of Women in the Arts has one of her feature sports photos in its permanent collection. Exhibits featuring her photos include: “Candid Culture: Images of Pennsylvania Traditions,” The National Press Photographers Association’s Women in Photojournalism: Alternative Visions,” The Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition and the Photo Review Web Exhibition. Nanette also served as the chief photo editor and staff photographer at several daily newspapers and as a freelance photographer for the Associated Press.
